Catalogue no. 523 (interior folds out like a leporello) for an exhibition on the sheet steel cubes of the Dutch sculptor Carel Visser (1928-2015). Illustrated with black and white photos (by Ad Petersen).

¶ Cf. Wolters #1289. Visser initially created stylized, iron bird sculptures and had his first solo exhibition in 1954 at Galerie Martinet in Amsterdam. A well-known early work is 'Stervend paard' (ca. 1949). Later his sculptural style became more abstract. He exhibited at the 4.documenta in Kassel and the Venice Biennale.
