¶ A little less than a year before his premature death, Boudewijn Büch (1948-2002) presented a part of the 'Bibliotheca Didina et Pinguina' for the first time; his private collection of books and objects on 'Natural History' (including Alexander von Humboldt, Charles Darwin, penguins, the dodo - with travel reports by Van Neck and Bontekoe - and the COELACANTH. In 2004, most of his collection was auctioned and a reprint of this book was published.
