¶ The stage name Drs P. was coined by TV presenter Willem Duys and refers to the academic degree that Polzer obtained at the Nederlandse Economische Hogeschool (now Erasmus University). He was also a poet, writer, comedian, writer, composer, pianist and singer of self-written songs.
