¶ The annual election by a professional jury of the Dutch Best Designed Books took place (on the initiative of designer S.H. de Roos) in the years 1925-1932 and 1948-1971. The last catalogue appeared in 1969 (on books from 1968). From 1986 onwards, an annual overview was published again.
