¶ Hans Richter fought as a soldier in the First World War between 1914 and 1916 and returned home as an invalid. He collaborated with various Dadaists and the art group De Stijl (Theo Van Doesburg, El Lissitzky). In 1929/1930 he was one of the founders of the Deutsche Film-Liga.
