Dutch translation of Le Bleu du Ciel (1957); an extreme erotic novel by the French surrealist Georges Bataille (1897-1962), written in 1935. "In his love for Dirty, Troppmann realizes his need for adoration, violence and shame and enters an area where life borders on death."
¶ With suggestive cover by Karel Beunis and J. Cursto [= Jaap Jungcurt]; the cut-and-paste work appears to show naked bodies, but is in fact very chaste. Between 1969 and 1972 at least 8 titles appeared in the unnamed 'Erotische Reeks'. This title is NOT mentioned in Verzameld Werk Catalogus 7 (1988).
