Sentimental 'levenslied' about a young woman who has fallen into poverty, on sheet music with lyrics, as a middle section in the T.A.V.E.N.U. Maandblad voor Nederland, a thin newspaper with jokes and a short story. A subscription cost Fl. 1,- per year.

The composer Gerrit van Weezel wrote the music for the Olympic Games in 1928. He died in 1942 at the age of sixty in the Auschwitz concentration camp.
