¶ The first book by the Dutch journalist and feminist Renate Dorrestein was a collection of short stories ('Voorleesboek voor planten', 1976). Later she wrote, at the invitation of the CPNB, the Book Week gift of 1997 'Want dit is mijn lichaam'. The first edition of her first novel is relatively scarce.
