Uitgeverij De Liefde consisted of writer/TV maker Kees van Kooten (1941-) and his mother Annie, whose home address is stated in the colophon as the publisher's head quarters. The first edition was published in limited edition; this second edition was provided with a foreword which gave some background info on the origin of the poems and the "publishers".
¶ A third edition was issued later in 1992 by the Maastricht Arcadia bookshop. Of that last (revised and expanded) bibliophile edition 500 copies were manufactured. "Waarlangs streek de wind / die ik nu op mijn wang voel? / Hij komt van zo ver!"
