Collection of poems by Annie van Kooten (1910-1999); a collection of beautiful Haiku's. Text set from the Cochin and printed by Scorpio in Maastricht. Third Edition: 500 copies. The center-stitched booklet comes with a bookmark with text by Anke van Kooten.
Originally self-published (as Uitgeverij De Liefde consisting of writer/TV maker Kees van Kooten (1941-) and his mother Annie, whose home address was mentioned in the colophon as the publisher's head quarters). The first edition of 1981 appeared in limited edition; the second edition (1000 copies) was provided with a preface providing a justification.
¶ This latest (revised and expanded) edition on thin-printing paper, contains the same preface plus an update to the third printing. Very attractive bibliophile gem - beautifully designed by master printer Bèr Cruisen. The book was presented on September 20, 1992. This copy was signed and dated by Kees van Kooten on that same day, with the SIGNATURE of the poet herself underneath.
