¶ After the Second World War, the Belgian ex-resistance fighter Ludo Vaneck visited all concentration camps and published a standard work about them in 1969 ('Het boek der kampen'). However, under various pseudonyms, he also wrote Nazi pulp, porn and eroticism in the 1960s, of which Jo Durand - modeled on James Bond - was the most successful. At one point, half a million copies were sold every week.
