Opland - (Antwoord op de verhandeling van Jan Bor over het Zijn-Niet Zijn, het denken-niet denken en het verwoorden-niet verwoorden) - Amsterdam - [Self-published?] - 1985 - 1st edition - [20] pp - Paper wrappers - 21 x 29,5 cm.
Condition: Good - ex-libary Simon Vinkenoog (not visible).
Nine minimalistic "Zen-like" drawings by the political cartoonist Opland (pseudonym of Rob Wout, 1928-2001) as a satirical (or serious?) response to the work of the Dutch philosopher Jan Bor (1946-). An unknown edition, printed on professional paper but with an "amateurish" look. An 'artist's book', distributed in limited edition among his own circle of friends?
¶ Obscure item. Not in Van Delft / Thomassen, not in the KB or other public collections. This copy comes from the archive of the Amsterdam poet Simon Vinkenoog (who shared the same year and birthday with Opland (who is best known for his poster depicting a woman kicking nuclear weapons (1981).
