¶ Zhuang Zhou, or in the ancient spelling Chuang-tzu, c. 369 BC-286 BC, was a Chinese poet and Taoist philosopher of the classical period of Chinese philosophy. He is called a mystic and a kind of quietist. His work is seen as one of the three pillars that form the foundation of Taoism.
