Antique atlas of the world, compiled at the end of the 19th century by Jacob Kuyper (1821-1908). The 100 (fold-out) maps are made in colour on a scale of 1:3700000 in lithography (by, among others, 's Hage, Wed. E. Spanier and A. Braakensiek). With table of contents. Text in Dutch. Bound in red cloth industrial binding with gilt title and decoration on front cover and spine. Two parts complete in one binding.

This copy was restored by master bookbinder Hans Zegveld from Nijmegen (the book contains his seal on the paste-down). The title page and table of contents of the first part are MISSING but have been inserted as a separate photocopy. Rare ATLAS, attractive item.
