Dutch vintage sex booklet ("nationaal seksvakblad") from the 1970s with pornographic stories by Joke Raviera and G.J. Lindenboom. Illustrated with photo sessions in colour and black and white, a crossword puzzle and amateur advertisements.

In this issue, among other things, an interview with porn artist Jaap Zwart (with reproductions of artworks), porn comic by Erdee (an artist from The Hague) and on the back a drawing (and parody of Panorama logo) by Bartholo (= Bart van Erkel).

¶ Candy (named after the Southern & Hoffenberg bestseller) was founded in October 1968 by the then 22-year-old entrepreneur Peter J. Muller (1946-). The elongated shape (handy for putting the magazine in the inner pocket) was copied from Provo.

In 1973, the publisher changed the name of its publishing house: [transl.] "Only after the official registration, someone pointed out to me that 'candida' is a medical term for a fungal infection whose characteristic symptoms are itching of the genitals and anus" - Cf.
