Dutch version of the well-known American nude magazine by Hugh Hefner (1926-2017). Illustrated with photos, reproductions and advertisements in colour and black and white. With 'Erotiek in de Tweede Kamer'; a 'bold' erotic photo series of two VVD politicians in the Binnenhof building (the House of Representatives) in The Hague.
This photo shoot by Govert de Roos became known as the "Playboy Affair" and caused an uproar within the ranks of the Liberal Party. The two protagonists, official secretary Arnoud Cevaal (then 37) and p.a. Lorette Welter (30) were eventually fired.
