The first three parts of the five-part series of transcriptions of handwritten medieval archive documents from the Gelderland capital. Illustrated with (folding) maps and some reproductions of the manuscripts. With table of contents, glossary and index. Text in Dutch and Latin. Hardback edition.

¶ Part 1 contains documents from the period 1353-1377; Part 2 (issued in 1969) covers the years 1377-1401 and Part 3 contains 1402-1420. A painstaking work that came about thanks to Wybe Jappe Alberts (1900-1987), helped by K. Schaap, A.S. Stempher, P.R.A. van Iddekinge and J.P. Vredenberg.

Later in 1978 a fourth part was published (dealing with the period 1420-1427) and in 1985 the fifth and last part (covering the years 1428-1432) closed the series.
