Antique fold-out photo album with a total of 24 old photos (dimensions approx. 9 x 13.5 cm; 3.5 x 5 inches), which have been coloured by hand. No text. Bound in concertina type binding [or leporello] with wooden boards.

¶ Contains 12 pasted photos of Japanese landscapes and buildings on one side (including Yomeimon Gate, also known as Higurasgi Gate in Nikko Toshogu, Japan). The other side presents 12 photos of Geishas; women in traditional dress, sometimes with teapot or instrument in hand.
