Scientific Dutch translation (edited by Wilfred Oranje), based on the German Gesammelte Werke, the Studienausgabe and the English Standard Edition (last revised by Mark Solms) of the Collected Works of Sigmund Freud (1856-1939).
Volume 11 consists of a glossary with explanations of Freudian terms, an extensive concordance on the most important German, English and Dutch editions and an excellent index. The entire edition is also included on CD-ROM. HARDBACK EDITION with reading ribbon.
¶ This standard work differs from the old Dutch edition on a number of essential points. The classification is now chronological and more than 100 articles that have not previously been translated in the Netherlands have been included. Freud's early work on hysteria, hypnosis, and suggestion, his articles on psychoneuroses, and his metapsychological texts are thus available, as are his prefaces, book reviews, lectures, letters, and lectures. This means a complete account of Freud's psychoanalytic writings.
