Vintage pulp book from the 1960s, describing the erotic adventures of Vera, a sixteen-year-old girl from Leiden, written by one 'Ton van Bremen'. R.A.S-reeks (without series number). The cover was provided by Bob Evers illustrator J.H. Moriën (1897-1989); with black and white photo of a pin-up model in a seductive pose. Cf. Onder de toonbank p. 216-217; NCC : only once (KB) in public collection.
¶ Uitgeverij "Orion" was founded by Cornelis Johannes Edelman, the author of 'Rendez-vous op 't Tulpplein' (1948) under the pseudonym Jan Brandts. In the back advertising for the new Broadway-reeks including 'Zonde op wielen' by Loren Beauchamp. These spicy booklets were mainly marketed through discreet canvassing and mail order.
