Dutch translation (by Maxim de Winter) of Real Magic. An introductory treatise on the basic principles of Yellow Magic (1971), written by "the first American magician with a university degree". Illustrated with black and white reproductions. With glossary. The book is dedicated in print to Aleister Crowley and protected with an impressive curse:
"To him who steals this book from its owner, or borrows it and does not return it: May it become a serpent in his hand and bite him, may bookworms gnaw at his bowels in token of the worm that never dies, and when he reaches his end may the flames of hell consume him forever."
¶ Phillip Emmons Isaac Bonewits (1949-2010) was a neo-druid, specialized in neopaganism and magic. He was the founder of the neopagan organizations Ár nDraíocht Féin and the Aquarian Anti-Defamation League. His photo on Wikipedia shows a sympathetically smiling bearded man.
