Reprint of the English edition (originally published by James Elliot & Co in 1894) of the collected works on Hermetics and Alchemy by the Swiss physician Paracelsus (= Philippus Aureolus Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim, ca. 1493-1541). With table of contents, "a copious Hermetic Vocabulary and Index".
Part 1 contains the writings on hermetic chemistry; Part 2 presents the texts on hermetic medicine and occult philosophy. Everything "edited with a Biographical Preface and Elucidatory Notes by the American-British mystic Arthur Edward White (1857-1942).
