Hardcover edition. Fonts discussed include Lutetia, Antigone, Romanée, Monotype Van Dyck Roman, Romulus, Cancelleresca Bastarda, Sans Serifs, Spectrum and Sheldon. A Dutch translation of this work was not published until 1990. Cf. Adieu Aesthetica p. 106.
¶ Text typeset from the Spectrum and printed by Joh. Enschedé en Zonen. Total circulation 1400 copies, of which 900 were provided with the imprints of one of the five participating publishers (or the author himself) on the title page. In this case H.D. Tjeenk Willink & Zoon in Haarlem.
