Condition: Good - the wood-containing paper is discolored and vulnerable with rust spots; decorative endpapers partially removed; with tears (p. 179/180 loose and damaged), scribbled here and there with a pencil and provided with drawings by a child's hand.

Antiquarian 'Staten' Bible / religious songbook from the 19th century, containing the New Testament (the Gospels to the Revelation to John); the Psalms with musical notation; "Evangelische Gezangen [...] bij den Openbaren Godsdienst in de Nederlandsche Hervormde Gemeenten" (1875) and Catechism.

¶ With index and list of songs and psalms. In the front a 'Acte van Waarborg' with facsimile of the signature of J. Brandt and Joh. Enschedé. Hardcover edition in (once somewhat restored) black leather binding with decorated silver locks and clasps with floral motifs. The silver has turned a bit black.
