¶ This erotic autobiography was in the 19th century (wrongly) attributed to the German opera singer Wilhelmine Schröder-Devrient (1804-1860). However, it is an anonymous work that was published in two parts between 1868 and 1875. The French text of this edition is based on a version from before the First World War, probably by Guillaume Apollinaire.
