Old atlas from the 1930s, edited by Klaas Zeeman (1880-1961). Illustrated with 44 colour maps; Europe, Asia, America, West Indies (Antilles, Suriname), Dutch East Indies, Celebes, the Moluccas, etc. With detailed maps of the Netherlands (and the provinces).
¶ On the cover a colour plate of a globe aimed at the Dutch East Indies. With the text: "Mascot [sigaretten] 'Universal'. Het waarmerk voor kwaliteit. Gemaakt voor de N.V. Java Tabaksblad My."
P. Noordhoff was originally a competitor of Wolters and Roelf Bos (1849-1922) was not related to P.R. Bos (1847-1902), whose name was linked to Wolters' "Bosatlas". Cf. Koeman VI BosR A26. This edition being quite scarce.
