Catalogue describing the contents of two boxes of documentation about the pioneer aircraft and car builder Gabriel Voisin from the archive of the Dutch writer Rudy Kousbroek (1929-2010). Illustrated with black and white photos and reproductions.
¶ The text (in English) is an essay that Kousbroek published in 1970 (taken from 'Automobile Design: Great Designers and their Work'). The collection, valued at €8,000, was eventually auctioned for 12,000 euros. Gabriel Voisin (1880-1973) designed and built the first manned powered aircraft in Europe in 1908. The pilot was Henry Farman.
