¶ With separate chapter about the famous catalogs for the Stedelijk Museum. Crouwel was co-founder of the design agency Total Design in 1963. In 1967 he designed the typeface New Alphabet (this book was typeset from Crouwel's letter 'Gridnik'). He is also known for the Dutch number stamps that were in use from 1976 to 2002.
