The cover appears to be a two-colour lithograph (reminiscent of the work of Nicolaas Wijnberg). As a whole, the publication has the appearance of an 'artist's book'.

¶ Tetsumi Kudо̄'s painting, performance, installation and sculpture is associated with the Anti-Art (Han-geijutsu) movement in Japan in the late 1950s and early 1960s. His work often presents a radically transformed and grotesque vision of the human body.
