¶ Rare LGBT / Gay interest item. The circulation of same sex magazines was lower than publications for heterosexual audiences. Marcel was founded around 1969. This early issue contains a story ('Open en bloot') set during the T.T. race in Assen. Wim Heerings also wrote 'Ik was een damslaper' (ca. 1970) and edited the (hetero) sex magazine 'Peeping' for De Vaar.
