Autobiographical report by the Dutch cult author Boudewijn van Houten (1939-) about his father, the national socialist Reinier van Houten (1908-1983); director of NSB publisher Nenasu. With table of contents. Cover after 'Das Liebespaar' by Georg Siebert.
Geert van Oorschot said in 1977 about Reinier van Houten: "Dat was geen schoft. Dat was een edelfascist en het edelfascisme had elementen in zich die niet zo gek waren. Had de socialistische beweging deze maar gehad".
¶ In 1964, Boudewijn van Houten, together with fellow writer Theo Kars, defrauded the PTT (Dutch Postal Service) for about 200.000 guilders. They used the loot to publish the literary magazine Tegenstroom. Both adventurers served a prison sentence for the fraud. Cf. Onze Hoogmoed (1970).
