¶ Anton Heyboer was a Dutch painter and etcher. He became traumatized during the Second World War. He lived with (eventually) four women in a commune in Den Ilp (Landsmeer). The 'fifth' woman was his art saleswoman across the street.

"I draw things that have value after my death" - Anton Heyboer in answer to the question "what he does for a living" of Dutch comedian André van Duin when he visited the artist and his five brides in 1996 as 'Gerard van Bezij' for a now legendary TV show.
