The text of a lecture at the University of Groningen, by Professor of Literature Wouter Blok (1922-2010) about a poem by Jan Slauerhoff (1898-1936) that remained unfinished and was never published. With notes.
¶ The poem in question was supposed to be the final part of Slauerhoff's trilogy about the radio operator Cameron. The first two parts were 'Het verboden rijk' (1932) and 'Het leven op aarde' (1934). The intended content of the unwritten final part can be reconstructed in broad outline.
