¶ The previous owner was probably a manager in a Student Association: Inserted is a sheet with letterhead of the 'Corps van Belastingstudenten' in Rotterdam, dated 28 Feb. 1941 with (typed) "Bijzonderheden van: [the students] Sleddering; F.W.Coster; A.J. Gijsbers; M. Castelein [and] W. Treep". The handwritten note does not mince words: "Algemene ontwikkeling beneden alle peil!"[transl.: "General development below all standards!"].
