American 'muscle mag' from the 1950s. Illustrated with homo-erotic black and white photos and artwork (by George Quaintance, Art-Bob and Etienne) of muscular young men. The photo on the back (model in Indian headdress) by Kurt Freeman).

¶ This issue with the debut of 'Tom of Finland' (Touko Valio Laaksonen, 1920-1991) on the cover and on page 3: "MEN OF THE FORESTS OF FINLAND is the theme of a new series of drawings being prepared by "Tom", an artist who lives in Finland and draws directly from life". Prints of these first drawings were available for $1.50.

NOTE: Given the paper type, the staples and the quality (as new!), I strongly suspect that this is a facsimile REPRINT from the 1990s. But it could be an original; I have no comparison material; reprints are also rare.
