Antiquarian edition of the famous story by Nienke van Hichtum (= Sjoukje Bokma de Boer, 1860-1939). Illustrated with drawings by Cornelis Jetses (1873-1955). Hardback EARLY EDITION.
¶ Cf. Niemeijer p. 35-47. The first edition from 1903 was published in Groningen by J.B. Wolters (after which Kluitman probably took over part of the edition). Van der Weg-Laverman dates the second edition in 1906 and Delpher estimates the fourth edition at 1919.
