¶ The freemason Eugène Count Goblet d'Alviella (1846-1925) was grand master of the Order in Belgium and professor at the University of Brussels. He received international recognition for his books on freemason symbolism.
This copy has been rebound in half-linen book binding using the original paper cover. Master bookbinder Hans Zegveld has also printed the author's name and title in black foil on the spine.
