¶ Rico Bulthuis wrote mostly psychological thrillers and detective novels and was also an illustrator, photographer, civil servant and art critic. Bulthuis also published under the pseudonym Hans Guignoly. He was the son of writer H.J. Bulthuis and the father of actress Sacha Bulthuis (1948-2009).
