Special publication on the occasion of the restoration of the famous statue by Auguste Rodin (1840-1917). Design in the style of the Zwarte Beertjes pockets by Dick Bruna.
¶ Singer Laren was robbed of seven bronze statues on 17 January 2007, including an early cast of 'The Thinker'. Two days later, the amateur perpetrators were arrested and Rodin's statue was found badly damaged. Tomas Ross wrote a suspense detective story about the incident.
