Forbidden book with erotic cartoons by the Dutch cartoonist Henk van der Molen (1921-1992); "a parody of serious pornography" (including chessboard with phalluses as chess pieces). The sketches are without text and are sometimes vaguely reminiscent of the work of Peter van Straaten.
¶ Aquarius was an umbrella organization of the porn dealer Ton van Vuuren (INTEX) who wanted to persuade the regular bookshops to include responsible" erotic books in their stock step-by-step, through this publisher. That did not happen easily: an advertisement for this booklet (with an image of a man adjusting a condom) was refused by Vrij Nederland in October 1970.
