¶ The Dutch writer / 'outsider art' artist Jozef 'Jeus' Rulof (1898-1952) was self-taught; he had no training as an artist but declared that his body was taken over by spiritual painters who had already died on earth (including Anthony van Dyck, 1599-1641; but no Rembrandt...).
