¶ Madame Blavatsky (born Jelena Petrovna von Hahn-Rottenstern) wrote hundreds of articles (including about Atlantis) and a number of books, including Isis Unveiled. The Secret Doctrine became the standard work of the theosophical movement, of which Blavatsky was the founder.
