Dutch edition of the modernist masterpiece 'Ulysses' (1922) by the Irish writer James Joyce (1882-1941), translated by John Vandenbergh (1906-1986). With the translator's 'Aantekeningen' per episode in a separate volume (with introduction by Leo Knuth and a justification). The book came with a bookmark that read "Ik heb Ulysses helemaal gelezen" [= "I have read all of Ulysses"].
