Collection of Dutch-language articles and travel reports, a well-targeted selection of the journalistic work of the writing freebooter Jan Cremer (1940-2024); about dogs and war, black women in the Tropics and Eskimo women in Greenland, wolves and whales, movie stars and whores, cosmonauts and boxers, slaughterhouses and brothels, etc.

¶ "Een ouderwetse leespil. Voor het volk door het volk", dedicated in print to Babet S. and (his dog) Kozak. The photo on the back is from Penthouse (1974); Front drawing: Jane Greenwood. A T-shirt with this design was also released.

This copy was provided by Jan Cremer with a full-page dedication to his fellow writer JAN WOLKERS and his wife Karina. The book went to Wolkers' son Eric a month later, who wrote his name on the title page.
