¶ On page 8 is Wolkers' poem 'Wintervlucht' in print for the first time. Furthermore on p. 23-53 literary locations are depicted from the prose of Mulisch, Dostoevsky and Marek van der Jagt. Finally on p.57-61 we find the artist's impressions of Frits van Egters (De Avonden), Rufus Dingelam (Onder professoren), Erik van Poelgeest (Kort Amerikaans) and Anton Steenwijk (De Aanslag).

The cover artwork by Sergio Cariello depicts a variant of the Marvel comics superhero team: Dutch writer Jan Wolkers is accompanied by Harry Mulisch as Mr. Fantastic, Willem Frederik Hermans (as The Torch) and Gerard Reve (as The invisible woman).
