Vintage 1960s pulp book, being a spicy novel, set during the French Revolution (1789–1799). Illustrated with black and white nude photos. Hardback edition. Signaalreeks. NCC: only once in the public collection (KB The Hague).

¶ At the time, this type of stimulus reading was sold 'under the counter'. The book should have a dust jacket that also shows the nude model in the photos, but in traditional costume. To my knowledge, there were at least 47 volumes issued in this "strictly forbidden for immature" book series.
