¶ This copy comes from the archive of the Dutch poet Simon Vinkenoog (1928-2009) who was involved in the editing of the BRES magazine, where an article about Ching Ho Cheng (following his first solo exhibition in Amsterdam) appeared in no 61 (1976).

The artist, who stayed at the New York Chelsea Hotel in the 1960s and 1970s and was friends there with pop art icon Andy Warhol, wrote a page-filling dedication with black felt-tip pen "Remember the fun we had"? and underneath his signature 'Ching'.

Amsterdam, Simon Vinkenoog (the greatest drugs expert in The Netherlands) and 'Fun'. We can safely assume that this pleasure has been psychedelic in nature.
