¶ 'Nils Holgerssons underbara resa genom Sverige' (1906) was first translated from Swedish in 1911 by Margaretha Meyboom (1857-1927). Illustrated with plates in COLOUR by Anton Pieck (1895-1987); the spiritual father of the fairy-tale forest in De Efteling.
