Vintage 1960s porn booklet from the Netherlands with pornographic stories and personals. Illustrated with black and white photos and a colour centerfold. Text in Dutch. NCC states one copy (the first issue April 1969) in the KB The Hague.
¶ The same title Sextra was used for another erotic magazine, published by Nooit Gedacht. This issue with advertisements for 'Het Grote Blote Borstenboek' by Peer Mullens and by mail order companies (for, among others, lingerie, 'Erotisan'; a 'Mexican love cocktail' and 'rare antiquarian books in English'). Furthermore, an announcement of the first episode of KICK and an erotic 'do-it-yourself' puzzle.
On the cover a beautiful 1960s model in sexy outfit, cotton candy hairstyle and long eyelashes. The foreword is about censorship: "De persvrijheid in Nederland is pas volkomen wanneer boeken als 'De Parel' [die kort tevoren in beslag was genomen] en bladen als 'Chick' broederlijk naast respektievelijk 'Joop Verheul' en 'Eva' in de etalage van de boekhandel komen te liggen."
CURIOUS: a lesbian photo comic (on p.9-16), more than 40 years before Tinder: "Tegenwoordig doen we alles via de computer...zelfs kunnen we via de computer een leuke sexpartner vinden." Incidentally, back in 1965, two young, enterprising Harvard students used an IBM 1401 computer to create the very first computer-based matchmaking service in the United States.
