Condition: Fragile - with some tears and repairs, reinforced with tape.

Original drawing in black ink, with a map of the station area of the Gelderland capital. Hand coloured in blue and red watercolor. Manufactured and dated by the Utrecht engineer 'Ingenieur Directeur N.J. van Dalen' with his SIGNATURE.

¶ Unpublished (not in Burgers/Vredenberg). The perspective of the map is from the direction of Oosterbeek and provides a view of the south-west of the city center, where the Central Station can also be found today. Noteworthy is the Gereformeerde Kerkhof (which was apparently located on the station square, where Hotel Haarhuis is located in 2024) and the Israeli cemetery on Utrechtseweg.

We also see the locations of the Tras- and Oliemolen [mills] on the Bergstraat, at the top Sonsbeek Park with the Sint-Jansbeek and the Zypseweg with the undeveloped land below where the 'Burgemeesterswijk' would be built. Below we find the harbour, where the 'Blauwe Golven' and the ramp to the Nelson Mandela Bridge are now situated.
